\Master goldsmith Peter Burger comes from a goldsmith family rich in tradition. Born in Baden in 1952, he began his training in his father's workshop in the early seventies. In 1980 he passed his master craftsman's examination at the goldsmiths' school in Pforzheim. Various awards at the German Jewellery and Gemstone Award Idar Oberstein, membership in the association Arts and Crafts and Design e.V. and his trade fair presence at Tendence and Inhorgenta are on his way.
Softly structured, almost materially soft surfaces and sweeping lines are characteristic of Peter Burger's jewellery. Calm and powerful at the same time his pieces look in this way. Inlaids made of different precious metals show vivid images. They tell stories about a journey.
